We currently live at the beck and call of four animals: Barley, a 13-year-old puppy, now mostly deaf and getting pretty gimpy; and Hal, Milo, and Bette Noire, three very affectionate indoor cats. They all came from the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.
Alas, Barley can't go camping with us anymore (or hunt for pack rats in the wood crib, for that matter) -- but he sure does enjoy his vacations at the Pets Hotel at the Pets Mart just down the road from us. I think we're happier to see him when we get back than he is to see us!
