Pastoral Services
Canyondancer (my husband and priest) and I have been active in the local Pagan community since the late 1980's, and practice in the Adventure Tradition of Wicca, which we founded in 1989. Now retired from coven leadership, we offer workshops and are available to lead a variety of rituals and passage rites.
Scheduling
Let us know at least three months in advance of any workshop you'd like us to present, and at least two months in advance of any rite you'd like us to lead.
Accommodation and Fees
If we need to come farther than to Phoenix or Sierra Vista, we'll need travel expenses, and if we need to stay over, we'll need room and board. (We're fine in houses rather than hotel rooms, but we do need a non-smoking place to stay.) Our fees are reasonable and negotiable.
Handfastings
We like to meet at least once prior to the ritual with any couple we're handfasting, and we believe in conducting rehearsals. Our fee for handfasting depends on how much we agree to do and provide, and how far we have to travel.
We have room here at the Tradition-stead for small rites indoors or out; and we are very used to dealing with non-Pagan family members. We provide a bound copy of the ritual script and Certificate of Handfasting to all our couples.
No, gender is not an issue; and yes, we can do legal marriages too. We can also do blended and non-denominational rites, and even non-religious ceremonies.
Other Passage Rites
We are available for Wiccanings, coming-of-age rites, hand-partings, eldering rites, and requiems. (Of course, we can make an exception to the two-three months ahead of time rule for requiems.) Our fee for these depends on their complexity and location.
