Whether you need proofreading, line editing, or suggestions for substantive changes -- and whether your work's about the paranormal or the occult or not -- I can help.
I can work with a portion of your manuscript or with the whole thing.  I can work with an electronic version, or, for a slight extra charge, with a hard copy.

Of course, editors don't all agree on the fine points of writing and punctuation.  Bear in mind that any editor's impression is just one person's opinion.  In the end, each author is responsible for his or her final choices.

For writers looking for help to polish their drafts, I offer a full range of editing services.  For authors writing about Pagan characters and rites, I offer  one-on-one consultations; and to groups, I offer lectures, workshops, and demonstrations.

As a priestess and an author, I have a unique perspective on the questions that authors need to ask about the occult and paranormal.  I've been a Wiccan priestess since 1986, and I'm ordained by the Aquarian Tabernacle Church.  I'm active in the Tucson area's Pagan community.  I've conducted rites, led ritual and presented workshops in this country and abroad.  I'm a member of several professional writing groups and have been a presenter at nationally-known writing conferences.

Need to know if a Wiccan character would really fling a broom at a "frenemy" or whether a Druid would invoke a malevolent entity?  Need to know if an Ásatrú Godman would really wear one of those horned helmets you see in Viking movies?
Maybe you wonder what role a priestess' athame could play in a murder -- or maybe you want to know what an athame is!  Whatever your questions are, it's safe to ask.

*How to Punctuate a Paga
n: Learn when and why to capitalize words like pagan, witch, coven, and more, whether you're reporting or story-telling.

* What is Neo-Paganism?  Without going into specifics, this very quick overview puts Neo-Paganism in context with mainstream religions.

                                                                                           60-Minute Presentations
In addition to the topics listed below, I am available to speak on a variety of specifically Wiccan and Pagan topics, many of them related to my books.  If you have something in mind, please ask.
* What Do Neo-Pagans Believe?  Most Neo-Pagan religions have a similar world-view and some analagous beliefs; most use a liturgical calendar called the Wheel of the Year.  We can focus on Neo-Pagan religions in their own terms or in comparison to Abrahamic faiths.
* What Do Pagan Rites Look Like?  Would you like a description, a display of altar gear, or a demonstration?  Any of these can be arranged; a demonstration rite can be participatory or not, according to your need and preference.
* Magic?  Really?  Does it work?  How?  Are curses real?  This presentation answers these and other questions about magic -- and can even include a spell for the audience to do.
* Conflicts and Controversies: Every good story needs conflict -- but the days of B-movie witch wars are over, so you need to know what other debates and disagreements might move a Pagan character to further your plot, whether with mayhem or comedy.
* A Miscellany of Mysticism: Are all witches Wiccan?  Do all witches have familiars?  Do Druids sacrifice virgins?  Are Neo-Pagans New Age?  This presentation dispels a few myths -- and then opens up for audience members to ask their own questions.
